Òscar’s awaited annual conference will explore Beethoven’s Op.109
Since 2017, Òscar is part of the teaching Faculty of Porto PianoFest. This festival, one of the main musical and cultural events all-year round in the City of Porto (Portugal), has in its faculty pianists Jean Saulnier (University of Montreal), José Ramón Méndez (Oberlin College) and course directors Nuno Marques and Mariel Mayz (CUNY).
As ever, Òscar will also contribute with interpretation lessons, pre-concert talks, and his traditional Lecture-Conference, this time on the mysterious and phenomenal inspiration behind Beethoven’s Op.109 piano sonata, first movement.
